| 1 | The Knob-Tailed Gecko is also known as the Smooth Knob Tail Gecko and the Three Line Knob Tail Gecko. It is found on the arid and semi-arid west coast of western Australia. They are a small lizard, with females reaching only about 4 3/4" and males being slightly smaller. Their colors range from a charcoal to red, and on rare occasion an olive color, this is topped with lines of small white tubercles. They may or may not have a cream colored stripe along the backbone. These are hardy lizards and relatively easy to care for in captivity. Contributed courtesy Konamoto Dominic | |
