1 | The Slow Worm or Blind Worm can reach up to just slightly under 20" in length. Because this legless lizard is long and slender with smooth scales, it is often confused as a snake. They vary in color from a bright golden, to brown or a dull grey.. Juveniles and females may have a dark thin stripe along the back. Contributed courtesy Pillan.
