3 | The most distinguishing feature of the Red-headed Agama is their color. Overall they are a dark brown, but as temperatures get warmer during the day, the body of the male becomes more bluish and its head and tail turn an orangish-red. Males also change color with aggression, such as when fighting for dominance in their group. Submitted courtesy David Brough.
