2 | The Ground Agama is one of the small, long-tailed, insect-eating lizards originating from Africa. It is said to be a forecaster of rain. When rain is imminent, it will climb up on a bush and stay stock still. It is thought that this behavior is because when it rains, its burrow is flooded with water, so it needs to be up high out of its home. Submitted courtesy David Brough.
