1 | The beautiful Yellow Banded Poison Dart Frog originates from the northern part of South America. These distinctive frogs have black and yellow bands crossing thier bodies, with black splotches marking the yellow areas and can reach up to about two inches. They like a very wet, moist habitat. They are foind in wet rocky forest soil or in wet tree trunks and roots. They are long lived in captivity, usually living between 10 and 15 years. Submitted courtesy Ken Childs.
