9 | " Can I trust him?... Peanut has been in the family for 8 days now. He has sort of become friends with Tyger, one of two resident cats in the house. It has been an experience trying to feed Peanut to make sure he gets enough to eat. Peanut eats about every 2-3 hours now. Food consists of Exact baby bird mixture mixed to a consistancy of runny mashed potatoes, fed through a large hole in a lamb bottle feeding nipple. A little on the messy side, but it gets the job done! Doves are easy to feed since the doves pull the food out of the feeding nipple themselves. Seeing Peanut get so excited about eating from the lamb feeding nipple was so reassuring that he was doing okay." Photo courtesy Pat
